Message So here I am driving that old beater Z I'm trying to sell. I was heading to meet a guy who wanted to trade it for a turbo 280z. I'm on I-95 cruising at 75mph then I decide I want to pass some people, I step on it then it just completely turns off.... no power whatsoever, I'm still coasting trying to turn it on trying to start it.... it cranks but doesn't fire.... keep trying and I realize it ain't gonna start. It's like an old dog you're about to put down and it became self aware so it pulled the ole show stopper. I was about a whole mile away from the next exit -surprisingly I had enough momentum to roll all the way through that mile get on the off ramp, make a right, go down the road about 50 feet....make a U-turn then make another right into a gas station LOL!! The road's name was coincidentally "Stuckway rd". So I'm stuck on Stuckway road at a gas station called Stuckie's. Anyway I try to start it, nothing so I figure maybe the gas gauge was lying to me, I filled it completely and still nothing so I push it into a parking spot and pop the hood..... wiggle all the connectors and try to start it.... cranks but doesn't fire. I had no tools at all so I just called a friend and had him drive me home, I grabbed my Titan and rented a trailer towed it back home, check the engine light.... code 11, crank angle sensor, wiggle the connector clean the terminals and crimp the contacts take the CAS off and spin it by hand wiggle the connector some more. Not even a single injector click or anything, so then I swap it out with a spare voila.... starts first try, it surprised me: this is the first time I've ever seen one go bad is that less rare than I think it is?

*disclaimer*: all that I say may be true or I may be completely wrong and I accept that.... please, it is your duty as another person on the internet to in-politely tell me how wrong I am :)
